Couple's getaway in luxury
We were greeted by Nick, who was genuinely cute as if we were family! The full English breakfast was very nice, just like a home-cooked meal.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what we received, it was acceptable.

Helpful and excellent staff, excellent breakfasts, good job!
Fabulous lovely boutique hotel with a stunning design. Contemporary and huge room with free Wi-Fi. A lot of goodies for breakfast. All in all absolutely perfect setting just next door to an amazing garden as well as a restaurant. Besides, very convenient to Church of All Saints.

The staff's really good kindness when offering a ground floor room was a highlight, and the homemade breakfast prepared by Judy made our morning special.

The Beautiful King Room offered plenty of space for relaxation, with an inviting layout that felt cozy. The unique historical charm of the hotel could be felt in every corner.
The room had noticeable dust along the edges of the carpet, and a couple of large dead spiders added to an unwelcoming vibe. The absence of the honesty bar meant no chance for a glass of wine upon arrival, and breakfast fell short of expectations, with overcooked bacon and underwhelming portions. Mushrooms arrived only as we were finishing, and we were left waiting for toast despite there being five of us dining. Coffee was also limited to just one cup from the pot, which seemed insufficient for a breakfast service.

A beautiful gem nestled in the Yorkshire countryside, the hall exudes charm and grace. The recently refurbished pub nearby offers delicious creative dishes that enhance the experience further. The staff's attentiveness was amazing, as they promptly accommodated a room change for mobility needs without hesitation. Some areas could be improved, such as more parking space and clearer signage for directions.

What a charming find in the Yorkshire countryside! The hosts were welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. While I found the duvet a bit heavy for the warm climate, every other aspect was superb, from the beautiful decor to the stunning grounds.

Magical atmosphere with really good service
Staying here was enchanting. The beautifully decorated rooms and historical charm created a serene experience that hit like stepping into a different era. A special mention to the attentive staff were pretty good, especially when arranging gluten-free breakfast options for me. The surrounding countryside added to the magic. One aspect I would improve is perhaps providing earplugs for the church bells that chime at night.

The breakfast, while a bit underwhelming, included some crispy bacon and a perfectly poached egg that still tickled our taste buds! What really shone, though, was the good setting-it was like a scene out of a fairy tale! The staff were genuinely helpful, even offering to switch our room for easier access. A lovely touch!
